The Environment Trust holds an annual art auction showcasing the work of a number of local artists living in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
It is a major fundraising event for the charity; who act to preserve buildings and landscape of historical interest in the borough.
This year Anne Swankie; a resident of Richmond who trained at Richmond School of Art, has painted a picture of Petersham Nurseries (pictured to the right).
Anne`s painting, entitled `Lunch at Petersham Nurseries` attracted a lot of attention at the auction and finally sold for £1,500.
